Rev Don Badham
Rev Don Badham

Don Badham was born in Brisbane, Australia, and did most of his schooling at the Church of England Grammar School there. He completed his accountancy studies and became a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants at age 20. He had goals to climb the corporate ladder but God had other plans. Don became a Christian soon after this and from that time his goals and ambitions began to change.

Don studied Bible and Theology at the Assemblies of God Commonwealth Bible College in Brisbane and from there went to Papua New Guinea as a missionary in January 1963. He was initially asked to go to fill a need as the Mission Accountant. However he soon became involved in Bible teaching and discovered his gifting in that field. He developed a passion for studying the Bible and teaching the great truths of the Word of God.

For 24 years he taught and trained Papua New Guineans, preparing them for the ministry. He developed courses of study, prepared notes and established Bible Schools across the country in his capacity as Director of Theological studies. At the end of 1986 he returned to Australia with his wife and five children, becoming the Principal of Logos International Leadership College in Townsville, Queensland for 11 years. There he developed a very successful Bible College Extension Course, with enrollments of over 400 students at any one time throughout Australia. The College was the only major Distance provider of external courses within the Assemblies of God for some time. In his “retirement” he was a senior lecturer at Strikeforce Ministry Training Institute in Brisbane, and from 2007 - 2008 was the senior lecturer in Bible and Theology at Jubilee Assemblies of God University at Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea.

Don has a Bachelor of Theology with I.C.I., a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Luther Rice Seminary, has written numerous subject materials, papers, study guides and courses, and has extensive experience as a Bible teacher. He also has considerable experience as a church pastor, board member, accountant, administrator, and committee member.
