Rev Mike Kinch

Mike and Sandy Kinch migrated to Australia from Barbados in 1974. They have been married since 1973, and have two daughters: Laura, a mechanical engineer working with Queensland Rail; and Kara studying hospitality management. Mike holds Biblical qualifications at Diploma, Bachelor and Masters levels. He is ordained with Australian Christian Churches - Assemblies of God in Australia. More recently he lectured at Logos International Leadership College in Townsville for twelve years.

He has traveled to some eight nations in the last ten years ministering in training colleges, churches and seminars for leaders on short term mission trips. Since 2004 he has been Senior Pastor of Magnetic Island Community Church. His primary ministry gift is that of a teacher to the Body of Christ. He has a strong proven prophetic gift and also has a shepherd’s and father’s heart for God’s people. He ministers with the fullness of the Holy Spirit with Biblical authenticity and authority which, together with his qualifications and experience, impacts disciples already in service or in training.
